## Global Applications Engineer, Inertial Sensors Connected Focus

The Global Applications Engineer, Inertial Sensors\-Connected Focus will provide in\-depth technical support and know\-how to customers to aid in the proper selection and application of inertial sensing solutions\. Proactively work with customers, Sales and Field Application Engineers to win new business opportunities\. Provide inn\-depth knowledge of inertial sensors and inertial sensing technologies; experience selecting and applying accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers and/or IMU \(Inertial Measurement Unit\) to track and monitor roll, pitch, yaw and overall motion in a variety of end applications\. The selected candidate must have the ability to travel 30% of the time\.
Understand system level challenges and how inertial sensors can solve problems and add value for customers
Drive leading technical presence in the marketplace
High level of involvement with Strategic Marketing and Global Product Management
Communicate and effectively work with global engineering resources

### YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science\.
+ 5 or more years of product development or application engineering experience
### WE VALUE
+ Previous experience in the design and development of inertial sensors or the application of inertial sensing solutions across a broad range of end applications
+ Significant experience in Product Design and Development experience or ApplicationsEngineering experience
+ Experience leading projects from start to finish
+ Experience working directly with customers
+ Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks based on high level business objectives
+ Experience in design or application engineering for Industrial, Transportation Aerospace or Military markets is a plus for this position
+ Integrative thinking: Ability to clearly assess new opportunities or situations and consider all aspects in decisions or recommendations
+ Experience and comfort operating in a global matrix business environment
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
