Maintenance Manager
The role of the Maintenance Manager is to establish a participative environment by being a role model, providing and facilitating communication, building a team atmosphere, and recognizing/fostering individual and team development. In facilitating the area specific processes the Maintenance Manager will build and support a customer mentality, aid in defining goals, identify training and education needs, remove barriers, delegate responsibility/authority as appropriate, monitor progress of the team, encourage continuous improvements, and recognize the performance of team members. Performance requires a broad-based knowledge of facilities and operations maintenance techniques and systems. Applies appropriate methods, procedures, practices, policies so as to achieve an economical and efficient operation. Provides leadership enabling area to demonstrate total quality in the product, cost, delivery, and safety.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds and supports customer mentality. Responds with commitment and sensitivity toward satisfying the needs of internal and external customers. Promotes SQDC (safety, quality, delivery, cost) and continuous improvement philosophies.
Is one of the expert resources providing process/product knowledge specific to areas of responsibility.
Provides and facilitates communications/interactions amongst team members, between teams and other areas, and with customers. Resolves differences and/or conflict situations effectively utilizing Company philosophies. Helps to remove barriers.
Has solid understanding of the broad business. Evaluates situations objectively and demonstrates the ability to make decisions that are intended to have a positive impact on work performance of area and the total business. Helps to define appropriate goals.
Provides visionary leadership and encourages creativity. Demonstrates personal flexibility in approach and ideas, responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility, and assignments.
Organizes and prioritizes work assignments to completes assignments/tasks on time, with quality, and has the ability to anticipate problem areas in advance. Applies creative approaches and ideas to solve problems maximizing effective use of appropriate resources.
Is accountable for defining resource needs and works within budget and staffing parameters to accomplish objectives for area of responsibility.
Responsible for identifying the need for interviewing and selection of, prospective employees for employment.
Provides performance management through coaching. Monitors employees progress. Takes necessary actions to build and foster continuous improvement philosophies with each team member. Responsible for identifying training and development needs of employees so that necessary skill levels are met. Recognizes the individuals for performance and accomplishments.
Recommends changes in status and salary adjustments for employees; administers necessary disciplinary action according to Division and Corporate policies.
Demonstrates a commitment to maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area. Follows safety regulations and actively contributes to work safety.
Must be able to effectively use a computer to compose written reports and documents and other communications.
Maintains cooperative and productive working relationships and communications with all employees, participating effectively as a Maintenance Manager. Encourages and assists others in self-improvement.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in technical, management, or related field; or equivalent in education and experience.
5-10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
