Machinist - 2nd and 3rd shift
Summary: Operates and setups special purpose, and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate and assemble metallic and nonmetallic parts by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Must be able to operate multiple machines.
Follow all quality guidelines.
Perform all Total Productive Environment (TPE) activities as required.
Verify that machine is running at proper cycle time.
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
Diagnose and rectify normal problems on machines.
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications.
Setting up, operating and dismantling of unit assembly and subassembly work stations.
Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly.
Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly.
Must have working knowledge and ability to repair final unit assemblies and subassemblies.
Responds with commitment and sensitivity toward satisfying the needs of internal and external customers. Promotes quality and continuous improvement philosophy.
Evaluates situations objectively and demonstrates the ability to make timely decisions that are intended to have a positive effect on work performance.

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma/(GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply logic and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
