Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
Lead the budgeting process, providing strategic input and financial forecasts to support business decisions.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Manage multi-entity, multi-national, and multi-site financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Utilize advanced financial systems and tools such as Excel, Power BI, ERP, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, and MS Dynamics to analyze financial data and generate insightful reports.
Collaborate with other department heads to align financial management with business strategies and goals.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
An MBA or CPA certification is highly desirable.
Minimum of 3
years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst, Financial Manager, or Finance Manager.
Solid knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
Proficiency in using financial software and systems such as Excel, Power BI, ERP, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, and MS Dynamics.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and align financial management with business goals.
